Sometimes a professional band offers its music through a free license for promotional reasons. That's what the Diablo Swing Orchestra did with its first album.

The Butcher's Ballroom was originally released on 17^th August 2006 in hardcopy by Gillioutine Grooves, the label owned by the band itself. Almost three years later, on 24^th July 2009, the album - a mix of avant-garde metal, swing jazz, traditional European music and classical soprano singing - was made available under a Creative Commons license.
